HEALTH CHECK AND VACCINATIONS

Did you know? The word vaccine comes from latin “vacca” that means cow! Edward Jenner (1796)noticed that milkmaids who had contracted a disease called cowpox, did not catch smallpox. Unlike smallpox, which caused severe skin disease and dangerous fevers in humans, cowpox led to few ill symptoms in people.
Jenner took fluid from a cowpox blister and scratched it into the skin of James Phipps, an eight-year-old boy. A single blister rose up on the spot, but James soon recovered. On July 1, Jenner inoculated the boy again, this time with smallpox matter, and no disease developed. The vaccine was a success. Doctors all over Europe soon adopted Jenner’s innovative technique, leading to a drastic decline in new sufferers of the devastating disease.

MICROCHIP INSERTION
High-quality only microchips are used, the vet is able to register them in few minutes at your home and notification is sent straight away by email, this is really useful for large litters and when puppies are leaving their first home soon.
The first registration to the breeder is free and there is no fee to be paid for the new owner for the first registration.
Since April 2016 it is a legal requirement to have any dog over the age of eight weeks microchipped in England and Wales.
All dog breeders are responsible for ensuring puppies are microchipped before selling them. Puppies cannot be sold until they are eight-weeks-old and must be microchipped at the point of sale.
A dog is only exempt from being microchipped if a vet certifies in writing that they cannot be microchipped for health reasons.
